Laurel Springs Academy Dean of Students

Katja Bruinink, MA

Katja came on board with Laurel Springs School in August of 2007. She started as an Enrollment Advisor but quickly moved on to her current inspiring position of Laurel Springs Academy Dean of Students. She holds a BA degree in International Business and Languages from The Netherlands and a MA degree in Spiritual Psychology.  She has an extensive background working in a variety of private school settings, having held positions ranging from admissions director to graduation coordination to alumni relations and development.

Katja is deeply inspired in her leadership role to create and continuously improve the Laurel Springs’ Academy program for gifted and talented students. Her preference for personal connection and relationship is well matched with the level of personal attention promised and offered in the Academy.  

As a mother of a gifted son, a high-school junior, she deeply understands the intricacies, joys and challenges of living with and supporting the schooling of a gifted student and she therefore brings a lot to her position of Laurel Springs Academy Dean of Students.

Paige Morabito, Ed.D.

Dr. Paige Morabito began her career in the field of gifted education and has ten years’ experience in curriculum development and administration for online secondary education. She has a B.A. in English from Stetson University, an M.A. in Gifted Education from the University of South Florida and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
